Food Festival Festisabores 2011, from Thursday until Sunday in Arequipa.

This weekend will be held the 5th edition of the food festival of Arequipa, Festisabores, in the Cerro Juli Convention Center. In this place visitors will be offered delicious traditional dishes and cultural performances of theater, dance and traditional music of Arequipa.

During this great feast of the senses, the best restaurants in Arequipa will present traditional dishes of the region as well as new culinary trends and food mergers with several countries cousines. Also, there will be sweets, donuts, cremolada, tamales and sandwiches prepared as it is traditionally done in every corner of Arequipa.
The tasty gastronomic diversity of Arequipa prompted the Gastronomic Association of Arequipa (AGAR), to began this gastronomic fair and unite together under one mission: to tell the world about a place in South America where they combine with wit and passion, all key elements that a delicious meal must have.

"Sabores del Terruño", with the support of the DMO Arequipa, seeks to promote sustainable business agreements between the direct producers with hotels, restaurants and exporters.
The 5th Arequipa´s food festival, Festisabores 2011, will be held from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 October at the Cerro Juli Convention Center that is located in José Luis Bustamante y Rivero.

Sabores del terruño, que cuenta con el apoyo de la OGD Arequipa, busca promover acuerdos comerciales duraderos entre los productores directos con empresarios de hoteles, restaurantes y exportadores.
El 5to festival gastronómico de Arequipa, Festisabores 2011, se realizará desde este jueves 20 al domingo 23 de octubre, en el Centro de Convenciones Cerro Juli que se encuentra en José Luís Bustamante y Rivero.
